A Visual Journey

Ever since Eunice Herring was a little girl her days were filled with hours drawing and painting. What’s started as a favorite past time has become a long life dream.

Eunice is a Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design graduate. She majored in Illustration with emphasis in Children's Books Illustration and currently works as a freelance illustrator. Eunice's artwork is done in traditional mediums such as acrylics, watercolors, NuPastels and Conté crayons as well as digital.

Eunice's illustrations captures and celebrates strong women and life itself with bold use of color. Eunice Herring's goal is to cherish life with every illustration piece and to promote a positive message. She draws inspiration from vintage fashions, imaginative stories, Nature, such as Utah landscapes, and Mexican heritage.

Eunice Herring won 1st place and received the Community Art Contest Recognition on September 2019 for her poster illustration, "Freedom and Social Justice." This digital illustration portrays an immigrant mother and child walking towards Lady Liberty; a symbol of the American dream and a nation who welcomes hardworking immigrants.

Art is more than just a pretty picture decorating a room, it brings purpose, joy, and, in many ways it sets the tone to live a life with high standards; a life full of dreams and expectations. Stay tune for more updates from this emerging artist!
